Our Oak Framed Buildings
Your Eavoak building can be many things
…but it will never be ordinary
The inherent individuality of timber means no two Eavoak buildings are the same. We work closely with you to create an original oak framed building designed and built to suit your needs – no matter how extraordinary.

Designing your oak framed building
Whatever type of building you are looking for, we will spend quality time with you in your space to create a design you love that makes the best use of your resources.
Our designers will create concept sketches to bring your oak frame building to life. This will help you visualise your new space while accounting for planning considerations, local authority regulations and conservation restrictions.
This is an exciting part of the process for everyone, so we allow plenty of time for you to enjoy it and discuss everything in detail. Throughout the process, we offer expert advice and guide you through each step. Once planning approvals are given (if relevant), we will work on your detailed drawings, ensuring even the smallest oak peg is accounted for.

Viewing a show project
Sometimes, seeing certain styles & finishes in situ is helpful before you commit to a final design.
Many of our previous clients are delighted to share their completed oak-framed buildings, helping you make a fully informed choice. Your designer can accommodate visits to relevant properties as and when required.
Renewable energy options are the natural choice for oak framed buildings, perfect for off-grid properties and those who want to help protect our delicate environment.
Together with our partners, Clear Sky Energy, we can supply and install a range of systems for your oak-framed building, answering all your questions about energy efficiency along the way. We ensure our bespoke designs make intelligent use of all renewable and energy-efficient technologies and contribute to a greener, more sustainable environment.
Solar PV
Solar PV (also known as solar panels) are a practical and cost-effective renewable energy source. They allow you to increase your building’s energy efficiency while reducing carbon emissions.
We can connect your solar panel system to other renewable energy systems such as battery storage, EV chargers and solar-assisted heat pumps so you can get the most out of your solar energy while saving on your electricity bills.
Air source heat pumps
An air-source heat pump draws heat from the air outside and transfers it into usable heat inside. This heat is used to heat radiators, underfloor heating, hot water, and warm air convectors in your home. An Air-Source Heat Pump can extract heat from temperatures as low as -20ºC and provide all your heating and hot water needs 365 days a year.
Your air source heat pump requires electricity but consumes significantly less than traditional heating systems. It can also be run from the energy captured by solar panels. This can result in lower energy bills and reduced carbon emissions, contributing to a greener and more sustainable environment.
Green roof systems
Improve your building’s performance and the local environment with a green roof. A green roof will help your oak-framed building cope with extremes of temperature more effectively – helping reduce heat loss in the winter and minimise heat gain during the summer. A green roof can also help with potential drainage issues on your land – the plants use the rainfall instead of letting it run off onto the ground. Green roofs also support biodiversity and absorb carbon – making them a hardworking and attractive solution to many of today’s challenges.
EV chargers
Add an EV charger to your new oak frame building – you may benefit from Government funding schemes to meet the costs of installing an EV charging point. Our OZEV-approved home charge point installers can offer a range of charging point units with a choice of different designs and options.
Solar battery storage
Store the surplus electricity generated by your solar panels during the day so you can use them at night or when you need additional power. By incorporating solar battery storage into your oak frame building, you can get the most out of your solar energy, reducing your electricity costs further and reliance on large utility companies.
Underfloor heating
Enjoy the comfort of a constant, comfortable, even heat throughout your new oak framed building that’s cost-efficient and easy to control. We can install your underfloor heating alongside an air source heat pump for an easy, low-carbon way to heat your new building.
